I am looking for a good way of learning FAM. I am not in a relationship at the moment, and not really wanting to have one night stands etc, so think it's a fairly good opportunity to get to know my cycle before I do meet someone new (and would use condoms and possibly a cap as back up too)
I understand that it is best to be taught by someone, rather than trying to teach myself from a book or internet site etc. I went to my local family planning clinic but they basically said "Oh you don't want to do that, you have to touch your cervical mucous!!!" although I think TBH it was my age that put them off - they want to get every girl under 25 on the implant here, they have tried to get me on it three times now despite me reacting badly to all the pills I have tried.
So from this I am assuming that I can't get trained on the NHS, has anyone paid to be taught the method, how much does it cost?
