Anyone had an ultrasound on their liver?

Have been told I have had abnormal liver results after a general blood test, now am boing sent for a scan.
Hardly ever drink,don't take tablets v often and have no pain.
I am wondering what else it could be, and anyone elses experiences?

Shockers and CheeryCherry - you seem to be having different types of scan. You've probably got different symptoms.

Mine was the same as shockers - no food/drink for 6 hours before and my appt was at 3pm!

Haven't had the results yet though but assume no news is good news as last time I got called at 7pm after having the scan that day!

Mine was at 3.15 today and I haven't stopped drinking water since... got one heck of a dehydration headache earlier! I don't think she saw anything unusual .
