Can anybody talk to me about unreasonably painful fingers?

Swollen, painful joints, 2 fingers warping inwards, much worse in cold weather, only right hand affected, been tested for rheumatoid arthritis and it's not that.
Any ideas?

Thanks

it's some form of arthritis to misform joints isn't it?

what did rheumatologist say?

do you have psoriasis?

IAmTheOneAndOnlyTooT · 08/03/2010 19:13

Didn't see a rheumatologist, just hadbloodtest. no, no psoriasis.

It couldn't be gout could it? I have a relative who had it and it sounded a bit like that, but I might be wildly out! Think it was very painful but controlled by cutting certain things out of diet. The joints being warped was a symptom of the rest of it rather than the first issue, so p'raps not.

CMOTdibbler · 08/03/2010 20:30

My fingers did that, and it turned out I have coeliac disease, and have auto immune arthritis associated with that

IAmTheOneAndOnlyTooT · 08/03/2010 20:50

i don't know much about gout...i must find out...
