How long is too long

I have had/got a nasty infection in both ears and my throat and I've had a week off work, I have another sick note for another week, but, to be honest I don't feel 100%.

Usually I brush things off within a few days, but, I am still in a little bit of pain and my mouth is full of ulcers due to a reaction to the anti-biotics.

Due to circumstances at home I am getting no rest as I'm having to do EVERYTHING, housework, sorting kids, cooking, shopping etc due to DH being unable to do things due to a nasty accident.

On a night I am getting very little sleep as he is so restless trying to get comfy and he is constantly waking me up or I end up nearly falling out of bed.

After 6 days off (1 day I got sent back home)would it be really taking the piss to have another day off and literally do NOTHING, not even the dishwasher, just nap etc.

I love my job and really can't wait to be back, but don't want to/can't afford to make mistakes.

Sorry this is so long, I suppose I'm feeling a little down too.

You certainly need to get some proper sleep by the sounds of it. Can you go and sleep on the sofa for a few days?
make sure you are properly better before you go back.

Duvet day sounds amazing.

I wouldn't be able to get to sleep on the sofa, its too uncomfy for me, but, DH can sleep on it fine, might ask him to sleep down here tonight.

thats a good idea, if you get a decent night or twos sleep it'll make a massive difference to how you feel.
