cervical polyp - post-removal infection?

what would the symptoms be? and how long would they take to show? I had a polyp removed a couple of days ago and have started bleeding - not heavily, just enough to be noticable.

Did they not tell you what to expect?

Why not contact your dr or out patietns- whoever did it?

I'd have thought some bleeding after any op on your cervix was likely.

Infection would be discharge, smells and horrible gunge- osrry fot TMI!

will ring dr today. Outpatients dept told me to expect "some" discharge (sorry!), but I was in such a hurry to get out of there after having it done that I forgot to ask how much is "some" and what needs taking to a doctor!
