What a thrilling thread for a Saturday night
I have noticed in the last few months that I have a very prominent tail bone. I cna only think that I haven't noticed before as I have recently lost 4 stone of baby weight and I now have less padding I am very far from skeletal at a size 12 so it's not like I have no bum to cushion me as it were! I was in the bath last night and convinced I'd sat on one of the dc's plastic toys. Nope, it was just the tailbone. It is uncomfy sometimes if I sit slouched. I know in the grand scheme of things this is really not that bad, but I worry that it is so prominent that I might actually damage it. I don't want to go to the doctor for no reason, but I just wondered if anyone has experience. I have been wondering if it has maybe been affected by ds's birth 20 months ago? He was back to back and a fast labour at less than 4 hours, but I was stood up to deliver him and he turned before birth. My dd is 5 and was also back to back, but I had an epidural, on my back and she didn't turn. I didn't notice this after I lost the baby weight from dd, which makes me wonder if it could be the second birth that has made this happen? I'm guessing that since it's bone there's nothing that can be done about it anyway?
