Cerazette

I've used Cerazette for a couple of years before my daughter and now have been back on it for about 3 months (Was first on Micronor for a while, but started spotting, so I switched)

The first time round I never had any bleeding, periods or anything. Now I started light spotting, and having a lot of crampiness, soreness of CS scar, general abdominal pain. The spotting has been there for about a week, light brown. The crampiness/pain has been going on for longer, but I had put it down to stress.

Is it possible that I have side effects on cerazette now, even though I didn't have them first time round?

Going to see my GP about it next week, am 100% sure I'm not pregnant (I even tested, just in case), but in the mean time I'm in full hypochondriac mode, so it'd be great if someone could help me snapping out of it.

I don't know whether it makes it any difference, but I'm about 4 stone lighter than I was when I was on Cerazette before pregnancy, and I'm still breastfeeding (but only evenings, not much.

hi i started taking cerazette 3 weeks ago and now i am having stomach pains and cramps. My stomach feels sore today on both sides but sometimes only on one side.

After reading up on the internet i am convinced it is the pills doing this to me. I am also hypochondriac and have been worried for days which has probably made it worse anyway!

I had stomach bug last weekend and i think these pills are making it worse.

I think i will go back to doctor and see what they say.

Good luck!
