tooth exctraction - how long?

i have a 30min appointment tomorrow and am then expected back at work for a tooth extraction.

its a molar, had this done about 3 years ago and it was a thre hour blood bath as it just would not come out.

my tooth is in several parts as it had a hairine fracture from a car accident and has now broken up.

i am just not sure how realistic it is to have the whole thing removed in 30mins.

i also can't see myself back at work teaching an hour after that.

has anyone had an easy tooth extraction? after a very difficult one?

I think you know the answer already -- yours is unlikely to be a straightforward case!
I assume dentist knows it will be 30 mins, or they wouldn't have only booked 30 mins? Still, I would try to book the afternoon off work, if I were you.

My one and only tooth extraction took about 30 seconds, btw (a wisdom tooth with infected root).
