Tietze's Syndrome

A few weeks back I came on asking about chest pains, then went to the docs to find out and she diagnosed me with Tietze's that seemed long term and reoccuring as opposed to it's usual up to 12 weeks type which should've been over by now.

So I'm wondering how I can cope with it a bit easier? Some days my chest doesn't hurt at all, and others (like today) it's really achy and painful. I've been thinking of exercising it but am unsure what to do. I can't do much cardio as I have bad knees and am thinking that I may try swimming to see if that helps but am worried about it affecting it negatively?

Any advice from other people who've had it or something similar?

Bump again. I'm desperate for some advice on this, it's getting worse by the day I went back to the doc and this one has referred me for some tests but he's positive that it's Teitze's still, just trying to settle my mind. I've been put on strong painkillers for two weeks to see if it helps but I don't want to have to rely on drugs
