This is my first post, I hope some of you more experienced mum's can help me as i am stuck in a hideous dilema.
I have suffered with hemorrhoids since my early twenties, I am now 35 and and finally pregnant after agonising fertility treatment. I had a hemorrhoidectomy nearly 4 years ago which was very successful (i would highly recommend it), however, a couple of little one's escaped and over the years have got progressively worse. It has all become exasperated through pregnancy and I am afraid of what will happen if I have a natural birth as the area is very weak. It only takes a bit of a dodgy tum or a hint of constipation to bring them on.
The doctors have said they will do C section if that's what I want. I want a natural birth, but I don't want to damage myself any further, and am very frightened.
Any advise greatfully received.
