Sore foot?

Since yesterday the bottom of my foot has been quite painful, the front pad bit by the toes. Its not an outside sort of pain, sort of in the pad itself. I've not stood on anything sharp, not wore new shoes, no verrucas or anything like that, so what could it be? It's quite tender to walk on.

Plantar faciitis? (sp probably wrong) the thick tissue under your foot can sometimes feel too tight and cause pain - does it help if you stretch it? Try icing it and see if that helps.

It odes help if I stretch it actually. WIll try the ice, neet to make some first though.

Used to get this when I did a lot of running - though bizarrely it hurt more when I started then the pain would ease as it stretched and would be fine.

If you've got a plastic cup fill it with water and put that in the freezer, then try rolling your foot on the iced cup. Also try stretching your foot first thing in the morning before you get up as that's when it tends to be worse.
