To cut a long story short, he was told by Dr he may have fibrosis 8 months ago, been referred and told its arthritis in shoulder. He works shifts, hes only just returned to work and its killing him. He manages 3 days of 5 and then suffers for he rest of the week, hes sleeping all day and night.Gets up about half hour to eat n drink then hes falling asleep again. Hes dizzy, feels sick and he looks awful. Hes had steriod injections in his shoulder but didnt work. Im thinking fybromyalgia or something similar. Dr dont want to know.

Its horrible to see him like this, any advice or thoughts appreciated.

It is a hard one.... I keep kicking myself that I didn't make my dad go to the Drs earlier. Now diagnosed with prostate cancer. However I don't think nagging him would have made one ounce of difference. It is a really hard change to make from being cared for to being a carer for both parties.

I wish that I had explained that I was worried but it was his decision. Instead I did nothing.

Good luck.
