Night sweats when on a period

Driving me nuts because when I am due on or actually come on and for the duration, I am waking up soaking wet duirng the night. Its horrible any advice??

Oh i get that to, really hate it, i have hot flushes in the day too!!!

I dont think there is much you ca do, it's the hormones and because you retain fluid beofre you period it's just basically comming out, beter out than in :-)

I'm 34, but started getting these sweats during my period in my early twenties - so definitely not an old lady syndrome..Would be interesting to know why some of us get this and others don't?

me to i get them ..just before and during , come from no where ...and restless sleep then to grrrrr being a woman at times ..

Cool, nice to know it is not just me. Sooo icky though, I hate it. I am dreading the menopause because if it like this all the time it is going to be a nightmare.
