My DD 3 years has woken up the last three mornings with very itchy palms. She is scratching them and rubbing them on her pjs and generally it is obviously very very itchy. Weirdly it wears off and she hasn't done it in the day. First thought of hand foot and mouth but no blisters and feet and mouth ok also read that hands don't itch with that. it is waking her up seriously early . have put sudocrem on but not really sure about it. any experience of this anyone?

Allergic reaction to something in the bedroom/bed? I had a similar problem when sleeping in a room we were decorating. I was allergic to the wall plaster that was going on the walls. It only affected my hands and wrists, for some reason!

try anti-histamine and if there's an improvement, it's probably an allergy. you can develop am allergy to something quickly even if you've been exposed to it in the past with no reaction. you can buy E45 anti itch which is quite effective.
