How come some people just don't seem to care about STIs? My friend is pregant by a man she has known 3 weeks. Neither of them bothered using anything ie a condom. I told her to go for an HIV test and she just laughed.

I despair sometimes.

Yes she is! I wasn't sure how it is done these days; things change so quickly. I just don't know how anyone can not care about this. I suppose it's like smoking (sorry, only example I can think of) people know the risks but aren't especially bothered.
