Neurologist has put me on TOPIRAMATE in an attempt to alleviate chronic migraine but now I can't sleep. Anyone taking this?

DH has chronic migraines and has taken a wide variety of medication, including topiramate. He found that it made him a lot more sleepy, but did help for a while with the migraines.

How long has the insomnia been going on for? I presume if it has been prescribed by a neurologist that it's not as simple as going back to the GP and saying you have problems but are you able to contact the neurologist?

Your post has reminded me that I think DH has a neurologist's appointment in March some time - had better check when it is!
