Big bloated belly!

Over the last week or so, my stomach has become really bloated. I look like I'm 6 months pregnant! I've got a wedding to go to next weekend and I was hoping I'd deflate by then. Has anyone got any good tips, I seem to puff up as soon as I eat something and I feel horrible.

Angiel, if there is no obvious trigger, i.e. always after eating wheat or dairy, then you see your GP immediately. Better to be safe than sorry.

Wheat is a common culprit so you could cut it out for a few days, it helps me as I bloat out too. Drinking lots of water is meant to help too.

Angiel, I read on another thread that you have had a really rotten time at home lately (and couldn't think of a single helpful thought other than feeling you were being treated really shoddily by your p, I'm so sorry).
If you are not normally wheat or dairy intolerant do you think your symptoms might be stress-related? I find Rescue Remedy helpful at difficult times in my life and also I think you could do with treating yourself to a good massage/pampering session to relieve some tension.
