endometrial biopsy/sampling- anyone?

going to have this done soon in gymae's surgery- just as an outpatient- he says it takes a few minutes and is similar to having a coil fitted but maybe not so bad!
Anyone had it done this way without any pain killers etc?

i had a few done last summer ad i had lumps on cervix which were cancerous and i was contantly bleeding they remove things it just a quick scrach and feels same as smear test and they talk to the whole way though so you forget about what they are doing. i hope your ok

Did they actually take samples from your uterus? The dr says it shouldn't hurt too much but that there is some baddish cramping afterwards- did you have that?

I am having mid-cycle bleeding so he want to investigate.

i did have that i had contin bleed they gave me tablets for 28 days and sorted out but every now and then i get the odd day bleed which is good . they also scan you to check out your womb to see any problems i have to go back in august.
