Update on Mr Lisad123

lisad123wantsherquoteinDM · 19/02/2010 00:33

Well nearly a year in now since this posting
2009

Well another round of tests and Bone marrow. Still not yet full remission yet but well on the way
Hoping to meet remission within next 6 months but daily chemo will continue till a better cure can be found or transplant is last option.

We are doing ok, some days are harder than others and DDs def keep us busy, especially DD1 who had her own dx of Autism the other week, and 2 year olds are hell on their own

Thought it was a while since update and seeing its nearly a year thought I should do one

Lx

Good luck, glad to hear it's all so far so good

LackaDAISYcal · 19/02/2010 00:57

glad to hear that things are going in the right direction Lisa and I hope he is bearing up well under the chemo.

Good Luck for the next six months

psychomum5 · 19/02/2010 01:01

hey, positive news.

I did wonder how things were going....I remember the thread and the shock of being called in so suddenly after a seemingly simple blood test.

hoping things stay going well for you.

sorry to hear about DD1, but also that must be kind of a relief having a DX there too....I know the relief (and the flipside of grief too for the child you had dreamt of) of getting a DX for your darling child. YOU know there is something, you even might know the answer, but actually having it confirmed is a double edged feeling. There is always that hope that they will say that it is nothing, it will be fine, the child will grow out of yada yada yada.

keep us informed, and hope YOU are coping with it all ok??

will be on here singing from the top when he reaches remission. We were all hoping to be there within the year but specialist said its understandable he isnt there yet as he was so unwell when they found out, as missed for so long.

We have kinda known about dd1 for a while and given informal dx just after dh was dx but had it confirmed now

Yes life is mad here, im trying to give up work as its all a bit much but cant afford too, but maybe one day
