Realistically dh has to go for the snip. Just wondered what the procedure was.

How long do you have to wait until its "safe" - Im sure my friend said 6months????

I think it's three months to be sure. He'll have the first semen sample test about eight weeks after the operation and then the next four weeks after that. Provided both tests come out as clear then you'll know it's been effective.

3 months is what's usual but it can take longer. Perhaps it did for your friend's partner?
