Had appointment with orthopedics today - x-rays etc.
My big toe is very small (freakishly small) and the x-ray showed that the bone structure is all wrong, lots of short bobbly bones and it is giving my foot no support causing me lots of foot pains.
I have been referred to podiatry and orthotics but he also mentioned toe lengthening surgery as a more permanent solution. Which is a bit scary.
He said my situation was very unusual so he was a bit unsure how to proceed with me.
Any experience? Thanks!
