I think DD has conjunctivitis but i wont know for sure until i take her to the doctors tomorrow morning.
We're supposed to be swimming later on - is that advisable? A definite no-no? up to DD? Frowned upon?

TIA

No don't - it will make it worse if it is an eye infection

i wouldn't.

I went to doctor when DD had conjunctivitis and they just said to keep wiping it with cooled boiled water until it goes. It could take up to 2 weeks, but it went within a couple of days.
I kept her hair tied back and wiped quite frequently and made sure she didn't touch her eyes.
I kept her away from pool though as I am sure that would have just aggravated it.

thanks guys.
We have to go to the doctors anyway as she also has a really nasty piece of excema that just will not go away. DD has suffered badly in the past with conjunctivitis before of a blocked tear duct and i am just hoping that this bout is just a coincidence and her duct is not blocked again (she's had surgery three times already bless her)
