is it really bad for you? bad like coke? bad like what?

i vaguely remember something about leeching calcium, but assuming that you're eating A LOT OF CHEESE CAUSE YOU'RE PREGNANT doesn't that counterbalance things?

just looking at the bottle next to me and it says :

average analysis mg/L bicarbonate 150, calcium 40.5, chloride 6.1, magnesium 10.1, nitrate (as NO3) 3.1, potassium 0.7 sodium 5.6 sulphate 5.3.

no mention of phosphoric adic or CO2 as additives.

Kewcumber · 14/02/2010 23:21

it's the CO2 that makes the bubbles so it wouldn;t be bubbly without it. I think the analysis is just the analysis of naturally occuring mineral salts.

MmeLindt · 14/02/2010 23:25

Some mineral waters are not good for babies and young children as they are too high in certain minerals, cannot remember which ones.

San Pellegrino is cheap as chips here in Geneva, one of the cheapest bottled water.

Kewcumber · 14/02/2010 23:26

yes only mineral analysis required for mineral water CO2 is not a mineral.

BTW spring water means nothing and can be tap water bottled

Kewcumber · 14/02/2010 23:29

MmeLindt - mostly good old salt but also sulphur and uranium (yes uranium!)
