It made no difference.
I gave up caffeine for 2 weeks. I had withdrawal headaches but no benefits at all so I am slurping away again merrily. Has anyone actually benefitted from giving it up?

Yes, sleeping better at night...in the end...
Had terrible withdrawl for more than 2 weeks.

Ooh are you guys related?

I gave up for about 2 months once and felt no benefits! I feel I need to give up again - can't exactly put my finger on why. I think it gives me hot flushes. Eeek!

Hmm I have no probs sleeping.
Giving up alcohol really made a difference for me but not caffeine... Maybe i needed to give up for more than 2 weeks?

yes, I slept better at night - but that was the reason I gave up, my sleep was really disrupted.

Give up caffiene? Why would you put yourself through such barbaric torture? Caffiene is what keeps you sane no?

Oh the withdrawal headaches..I came off it so i wouldnt get them so often (used to get them by midday if I hadnt had a cup). Then discovered most decaff is less healthy and the best option is regular but filter coffee. This is working for me but I notice its true that a few hours after a cup it does make you feel more tired - you start to crash

Anyone tried this new green coffee which is meant to be even healthier than green tea? I have hopes for it, despite the strange visual image it conjures up.
