Hi Posted earlier that I have been experiencing some spotting 12 weeks after giving birth. I didn't stop bleeding orignally for 8 weeks.I went to my GP this afternoon as I have been getting my knickers in a twist because I had got it into my head that maybe something abnormal with my cervix. I explained this to my GP and she agreed to examine me. She said it all looked fine but gave a name to a skin growth on my cervix which is normal after birth. I have never heard of it before and have stupidly forgotten now I have got home.
She thinks that it is still lochia finally coming to end and told me not to worry - impossible!! Anyone know if this is normal for the cervix? Anyone taken 12 weeks to stop bleeding.
