Asking for a friend. She wants to know if she will have to have GA to have this removed. Or if it would be local anesthetic?

I thought it would be GA but am not sure. Thanks

I had it done under local years ago.

I had a polyp in my uterus removed under GA.

yes, sorry, should have said mine was cervical.

mine was cervical - they had a good tug at it with no anesthetic but ended up removing it with a GA

I had uterine polyps, and had a GA

Thanks she didn't listen properly and only said she heard the word womb. So could mean they are there or I can see a Dr using the phrase "neck of the womb" meaning cervix so not actually sure.

She was so worked up she went in to a state and wasn't listening and refuses to contact GP for clarity. (Took all my effort to get her to go to GP in first place so am fighting a losing battle)
