Had a haemorrhoid after number 2 child was born 12 years ago. that has long cleared up.
this is different and a big hard lump just inside the bumhole. and it bloody hurts.

Not constipated. tend to be a bit irritable and more loose than bunged up. diet with lots of veggies and fruit. I do a job with lots of standing.

I am doctor phobic so won't be showing my sphyncter to anyone. at all. ever.

have slapped on the anusol (best before end 2001). What else can I do and at what point do I attempt home surgery?

I'm not sure that piles are normally hard tbh. Any bleeding?

As long as the anusol has only been used on 2000 ends, you should be alright then.

most likely a Thrombosed pile - where the blood supply gets cut off completely to a pile and the pile gets very hard,painful and discoloured - would suggest getting it seen by a doc though - ice,local anaesthetic gel and oral painkillers might help.

I'm going to have to get a mirror and look. should i google images first to compare?
