New mole - cause for concern?

I have a small mole on the bottom of my thumb. I notice it about two/three months ago and it looked like a tiny pen dot. It has grown very slowly since - probably only 1-2mm bigger. It looks an even colour, doesn't itch, an even size etc.

Just keep an eye on but do nothing or is it cause for concern?

I do have quite a lot of moles anyway so it fits in with the other ones

Your body changes all the time and skin cells are constantly sheading themselves and growing so it is normal to have new moles. They shouldn't grow or change though. Maybe mention it to the GP next time you are in?

if it is changing in size or colour I would speak to your GP just to be on the safe side.
