Brown Discharge- worried

Hi Please can anyone advise me. I had a baby 11 weeks ago. I took 8 weeks to stop bleeding but thought everything had settled down. But 2 days ago I had some brown/blood stained discharge. It has stopped again now but I am worrying myself sick.

I feel slightly sore so wondering if some type of infection. Discharge now normal and no odour but quite watery clear. I have been reading on the internet and convinced myself it could be a symptom of cervical cancer. I had a internal scan done when first pregnant would this pick up any severe abnornamality? Last smear test 2 and half years ago. Could it be symptom of UTI?

I will go to Dr's next week but would greatful any advice.

How do you feel in yourself? It might be nothing more then the end of the lochia - brown blood is old blood. By all means go to the doctor and get yourself checked for infection, and also a smear test, but try not to worry.

are you breast or bottle feeding?

or it might be the start of your period.
