Pain in the leg!!

I don't want to sound like a hypochondriac or anything, but I've got a really bad pain in my leg and I've no idea what's causing it.

It's in the back of my left thigh. There is an area of skin that feels really tender to touch, like it is raw. The back of my leg from my bum to my knee hurts though. There are no obvious spots, bites, bruises etc has anyone got any idea what could be wrong.

Just seen this sorry for the late respose. Could it be a trapped nerve?? I got one during my second pregnancy and it still crops up from time to time - I use Reiki to help get rid of it.

If you're at all worried though see your GP for reassurance.
