NormaSknockers · 31/01/2010 08:45

I'm confused, what? Who?

Georgimama · 31/01/2010 08:49

Ooh sorry, x posted with you Norms. Was referring to BOF's post about the alleged teenage poster who has arrived - she posted on a pretty innocuous thread where someone was concerned about their own teenager being a bit of a wallflower. Profile rings alarm bells, something along the lines of "obviously I don't have any children but I wanted to get an idea here of what I should do when I do, and you'll all be the first to know" (I paraphrase).

I predict a pregnancy thread (probably with STD complication) within the next six weeks.

Georgimama · 31/01/2010 08:50

No hang over here, only had half a pint (I am a laydeee) of lager with the curry.

Have lost another pound! 12 pounds down - 37 to go!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 31/01/2010 08:58

Morning all.

I apologise along with Sazzles

Hope everyone is well today. DD slept all night which is fantastic. we are going to have a very quiet one.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 31/01/2010 09:03

Well done Georgi I read about the pounds vs stones on your other thread and it makes a huge amount of sense.

NormaSknockers · 31/01/2010 09:06

Well done Georgi - you're doing well Ah I see about the poster, shall keep an eye on that one!

Lizzylou · 31/01/2010 09:14

MOrning all
No hangover here, though very little sleep due to warthog DH and dodgy left thigh/bum cheek. Am hobbling around this morning like a pensioner.....

Well done Georgi.

How does everyone notice these things, I never do?!

Morning all

Hope you feel better soon Lizzy.

Got on the scales this morning, I know, I know, I should wait until Tuesday but I have got rid of the extra poundage I put back on so I am back to the original amount that I lost until last week. DH getting me the Aquaban stuff this morning when he goes into town.

I am having 0% total yog with blueberries and sliced strawbs for breakfast. The boys have just had toast with chocolate spread and strawbs - I could smell the chocolate and could have easily eaten a spoonful out of the jar - but I didn't.

Salad for lunch and then roast pork dinner tonight.

I always miss the good threads....

Lizzylou · 31/01/2010 09:35

Only when I walk, Shiney.
May just lounge all day

Don't feel bad about your make up splurge, you work hard to earn money. YOu said yourself that you are always treating your kids. It's not like you'll now be destitute, is it?

You're worth it, Shiney.

bellavita · 31/01/2010 09:37

If you feel guilty, send some of the old stuff to me... I won't feel guilty

bellavita · 31/01/2010 09:42

Yes I am feeling more like my old self which is good

If it is a freebie Shiney, I would wear anything . I always wear foundation, a little sprinkling of bronzer, blush, mascara and eyeliner whether that be a pencil or a dash of colour done with a brush. If I have more time like a Mon or a Tue, then I will do eyeshadows too. At the mo I have all lancome stuff, but have used Clinique, Estee Lauder and the odd thing of Chanel. I have never tried the other brands that are around - I think because it is usually young dolly birds that are on the counters and it sort of puts me off.

bellavita · 31/01/2010 09:55

When I say other brands, I mean the hip ones like Benefit, Bobby Brown, MAC etc etc

hellsbelles · 31/01/2010 09:56

I always miss them too bella!

morning all. Beautiful morning here too. DD hasn't been sick again which is good and bad in equal measures...as I think it does mean she may be starting travel sicknesses...and as we travel a lot

Shiney - agree with lizzy - don't feel bad...treats are allowed with hard earned money (that's what I say to myself anyway!)

Lazy day planned here too...just got to papers in (proper ones and trashy ones) and looking forward to a quick read before DD wakes up from her nap and starts wreaking havoc!

I cannot wait till the meet up. It'll be the first night away from the DC's since goodness knows when (err? 3 years???)....promise me I'll get a lie in? Actually I know I won't - I'll get so hungover I'll wake up at 5am gasping for water and a wee - that is my normal profile after a good night out!

Lizzylou · 31/01/2010 10:02

Hmm, it's a toughie gorgeous make up in posh packaging or a flaming Dyson.....

Hang on, let me think about that one....

I think you made the right choice Shiney, never fear.
