Can the PS3 be responsible for migranes?

If migranes are not a usual occurrance.

DS has had a migrane since tues (off and on) it seems to fade and then come back with avengence.... Doc prescribed migraleve last night which works almost immediately, PS 3 today for a little over an hour and he now has another headache/ migraine....

im not convinced they are related but at the same time sort of hope it is the reason why because if it isnt the PS3 causing the mgrane I havent the foggiest what is. DS is 11 btw...

Dd1 has just got a PS3 and I suffer from migranes, but have not been effected. Having said that, I bet the games/screen size/brightness all make a difference.

could be he has had headachey niggles but thought nothing of it. I have the screen brightness turned down which helps.

stoppinattwo · 23/01/2010 20:43

He doesnt wear glasses and his eyesight is good he is regularly tested as he gets uvitis. ...

mom...for most of the week it has been a niggle for him with the occasional 9/10 on the pain scale,, similar to my own migraine, I think turning the brightness down could be a good tip, he has had a migraleve 20 mins ago and bingo it has gone.... migraleve seem to send him a bit loopy though...he has gone all dippy n daft

thankyou for your caring words pixie
