I have this wierd feeling in my uterus. Its feel like there is something moving. Twitching or wriggling I know i am not pregnant but what else could it be.

ITs been going on for a week and i have been off with a stomach bug but it doesnt feel like that.

It sounds really stupid but I really am not pulling legs.

could be a pulled nerve type thing

jellyjelly · 21/01/2010 20:15

ITs not painful just really wierd. It felt like when i had my son and he was moving around but not till 18 weeks.

I've had this! How old are/is your DC? I experienced it a few months after both pregnancies. After DD (DC1) I had it quite a lot and rather strongly. It was a very strange experience (and I wasn't pregnant).

I remember reading about it on here, so we're not alone

jellyjelly · 21/01/2010 20:20

I know I am not pregnant so it cant be that. My son is 7 yrs old now.

I am also mid cycle just not had this before.

Ah, 7 years. I have no idea how long it'll go on with me. I conceived DS when DD was 9 1/2 months and he's only 7 months now.

Sorry not to be more help.

southeastastra · 21/01/2010 20:36

could you have pulled a muscle there somehow?

LucyEllensmadmummy · 21/01/2010 21:10

its wind!!

southeastastra · 21/01/2010 21:12

lucyellen why are you mad all of a sudden

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 21/01/2010 21:13

Yup, I agree with lucyellensmummy (sorry, you are not mad dear) it's wind.

Littlefish · 21/01/2010 21:13

I agree with LEM - it could well be wind.

skinsl · 21/01/2010 21:18

ovulating?!!!

LucyEllensmadmummy · 21/01/2010 22:34

oh because i was accused of being a basket case on another thread - thought id change my name to suit

AitchTwoOhOneOh · 21/01/2010 22:39

there was a thread about this a few years ago, i remember, and loads of us said we had the same thing. someone had asked her doc and he'd said it was just a little muscle spasm. it's weird, though, it does feel just like baby movement...

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 21/01/2010 22:40

You should tell them to fark off LucyEllensmummy. NO ONE has the right to call anyone mad!

blinks · 21/01/2010 22:43

i've had this and it was also following a stomach bug... it's most likely your intenstines/bowels settling back down after the bug.also

blinks · 21/01/2010 22:43

intestines.

LucyEllensmadmummy · 21/01/2010 22:49

oh i don't know belle - i have my moments

gaelicsheep · 21/01/2010 22:58

Oh God, now I'm bothered again that my "baby movement" is just wind! I'm 99.9% sure it's the baby though. I can't usually feel wind kicking my hand!

Jellyjelly - are you 100% certain you're not pregnant?

BettySuarez · 21/01/2010 23:21

Jelly I also get this and am def not pregnant! Sometimes feels like a baby kicking and other times just a rolling/pitching sensatation.

I am a right old farty pants though

queenoftheslatterns · 21/01/2010 23:25

yep wind! i have this all the time and mentioned it to my cons who explained that it was more pronounced because of my cs and laparotomy.
