i have been on citalopram and took it at night, switched to prozac about 6 weeks ago and have been having trouble getting to sleep since. MIL says i should be taking it in the morning. On the box just says take one daily.

i've always taken mine in the morning with my breakfast - my consultant told me to

When I took it, I took it at night as it made me sick and I found taking it at night helped with that.

I would try taking it in the morning and see if it helps with getting to sleep.

I used to take mine in the morning as it kept me awake. Doctor said some people find it keeps them awake and some find it makes them sleepy, so take it at the right time to suit you.

Take it in the morning. All the SSRI drugs (like prozac, cipramil, seroxat etc) can be quite stimulating, but prozac is the worst culprit. Taking it at night can often keep people awake
