and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
Never got on with hormonal contraceptives, t shaped copper coil made me bleed and bleed and bleed for months and fell pg with dc4 using NFP so i am so chuffed the gynefix works! No bleeding, just a bit of spotting the week after it was put in, one etra day on my period and a bit heavier flow but well worth it for a decent non hormanal reliable form of contraception!

So to anyone else in a contraceptive quandry-give the gynefix a thought!

(and no i am not on commision from them-just feel so bloody chuffed to have found out about it and wanted to share!)

it is quite difficult to choose your IUD brand I think. DW had one of these before and was very happy and requested it again (post-dc2) but we were in a different area so they don't do it, or the doctor wasn't trained for it or some such, and anyway they gave her a different one but she ended up having to have it surgically removed and then re-fitted.

So good recommendation but unfortunately I think unless the doctor you go to does them you won't get one.
