thread worms

Sorry this has been bugging me since the thread about thread worms and garlic up the bum. how do you know you have thread worms?

Itchy bottom and a powder like substance in the underpants when the child/adult wakes up.

itchy bum, especially at night.

Ive just posted on child's healthy as my ds son woke tonight really crying saying his bottom was very itchy.

Not sure if too much fresh juice and poos this weekend making his bottom sore and itchy or still wears Huggies PJ Pants as not dry at night and is hot and swaety because of them.

I may try and have a look when I go t bed to see if I can see any of the suckers
