Help! Scared of What mid-cycle bleeding might mean

DC2 was born in April, had first AF in September, it was extremely heavy, as was Nov and December's.

Am now mid cycle and have started bleeding again with added cramps.

Am still BF if that makes a difference.

Have googled and of course am now worried ive got cancer. But surely someone would have noticed if I had cancer on one of my scans?

Is any of this normal? Going to call GP on mon but need to sleep until then!!!

Poor you! Just remember that as your body is getting back to normal a lot of crazy things can be happening. We're discussing on the April09 thread about some of this ourselves. Some of us got our periods very early (even though bf). Others are still waiting though they've stopped bf. Some have had trouble with continuous bleed.
Don't panic.
Be proactive.
Do a preggy test if you think that may be a possibility. And go in to see the doctor on Mon like you al ready plan to.

We you very regular before the birth of your dc2?

Thanks bebemoohatessnot

Always very regular, then had Mirena coil before DCs which made periods practically stop. Then first proper period after DC2 born was like a flood!

Yeah we've got that going on the thread too. Sacrificing goats, battle of the Somme were some of the phrases used...
It really sounds to me like it's your body adjusting. A little time and double check with the gp fr reassurance.
In the meantime extra nutrients might help you feel better too (low b vitamins has been linked to cramps I think) and replace any drain the 'extra' bleed is taking on your system, a nice steak or hamburger with some veg and maybe a glass of red if you like that sort of thing. (that's me, any reason to get out the red... ) And if you're really feeling unwell give yourself a mini break if you can and curl up on the couch with some good Tv or a book after the Lo's go to sleep/ are taking a nap.
