urgent - uti with group b strep

been told two week safter a urine test have got this and not sure why it took so long but been put on penicillin

first i thought i had thrush which have never had
itchy discharge

now got discomfort in bladder and sore tongue of all things

readin gon the net it says things that scare me

am not pregnant so sterp b info for preg women does not not apply to me..please has anyone had this and what happened

should i worry!!!!!!

If your bladder is still hurting even though you are on antibiotics you need to go back to the doctor cos they aren't working!

Watch for pain in your side or back as the infection could move up to your kidney and pyelonephritis often needs IV antibiotics in hospital.

I've had groupB strep in and out of pregnancy. Its nasty, but it does get better!

why did my gp say this is common and yet can find no evidence of non pregnant adults having it commonly??? and why did it take two weeks to diagnose

a UTI is the same as cystitis- it means Urinary Tract Infection.
