i said i was off out but am trying to get hold of my parents atm.

peters op is pencilled in for tonight. open heart surgery io belive its called. am very scared. waiting for confirmation.

this si more risky than transplant. i really dont want it to happen, but not have much choice as peter is in the end stages of heart failure and has a matter of weeks/months left at best.

Oh, god, misdee - I can't imagine how you are feeling or how you will get through the next few hours. He really couldn't be in a better hospital for all this, could he - hang on to that. They can fix him.

no idea yet. all i know is in pencilled in for tonight, so may change. surgeon has to make the decision, they said we should know by 2pm.

i know. get told oen thing in the morning, then surgeon says no, weds. only yesterday they were talking about the small pump bering used, now thats out the window an they are saying go stright to the big pump. ARRRGH!!!
