Reading Regent Strips

Any nurses about? What does it mean on a regent strip when the Leu section goes purple?

high white blood cell count (leukocytes) in urine

often a marker of a UTI

what other symptoms? why was test taken?

DD has had stomach pains and the surgery asked for a sample. I was showing her what they would do and then, of course, attempted to read it. I have some left over from my pregnancy. I will take it in tomorrow morning.

She has had occasional tummy ache for a while now so I wish I had investigated sooner. We assumed she had wind.
