Hi - a decent probiotic would be a good place to start, so either those yogurt drinks (Actimel, Yakult etc.) or you can get probiotic in tablet form like this.

I like Floradix as a general pick-me-up tonic. It needs to be kept in the fridge. Then for a bit more of an instant hit, Berocca is good and widely available.

Diet-wise, I think cutting out processed food, and increasing your fruit & veg is the way to go. The allium family is good for shifting stubborn coughs and colds, so plenty of garlic and onions. A big bowl of onion soup will cure many an ill and clear your tubes

Slightly off-topic, but body-brushing can soon make you feel good - stimulates the lymph system so it has detoxifying effect I guess. And then a few good nights sleep are also a big help for me, but difficult with a baby around

I'm having a blood test next week to test for immune deficiencies as I keep getting infections - will try to remember to post what the doc says. If you keep getting ill you should prob see the doc to make sure there's nothing underlying.
