Hello everyone,
I am new to this so please excuse if I don't get it right.

My DS is 2 yrs and 3 mths and has pigeon toes i.e. he curls his foot in when walking. The health visitor said at the 2 year check that it would probably sort it and not to worry unless it was painful and causing excessive walking problems.

He does not have walking problems so to speak and no pain, from what we can tell, but he does fall over quite a bit as he tends to run everywhere. He is very active and I am not sure if the falling is more down to his in ability not to race everywhere he goes...

Anyone else experienced anything like this? I need a bit of reassurance as it is worrying me a little. Helen

i've heard it's very common, and that they won't do anything about it until they reach about 4? because it's likely to sort itself before then.

I was like this when little and remember going to hospital to walk along a line on the floor - must have been about 3. They left me to it and it sorted itself, though I do remember consciously walking with my feet facing front. And honestly any 2 year old that runs will fall lots. So don't worry about it - I'm sure they're right and time'll sort it..
