Teething and sleepless nights

Hi, has anyone else been experiencing sleepless nights along with teething. Our wee daughter has been wakening about 6 times per night for the past two weeks! Initially I thought it was reflux and increased her meds! But last night she was so unsettled and was still tearful this morning. Signs of bright red cheeks and constant almost frantic knawing of objects now makes me think its teeth.

We have tried calpol, R35, teething powders, gel (obviously not all together). Any other ideas?

Would be nice to know if someone else is experiencing the same thing. We had nothing like this with our first baby.

We had a fortnight of similarly disturbed nights with DS when his molars came through.

He was up nearly every hour despite being dosed up with analgesia and powders etc.
We took him into our bed which seemed to soothe him and allow us all a bit more sleep. Bf was a great soother too.

We were on holiday so thankfully could take turns to catch up on sleep during the days.

He always seemed pretty pain free during the days but I suspect the pain is worse when they lie down.

It was a phase and did pass.

If your DD doesn't seem to be settling and no teeth appear may be worth getting her checked out at GP to exclude anything like sore ears.

Hope you all get some undisturbed sleep very soon
