I had the mirena inserted following the birth of DD. I've had it for 6 months now and am at the end of my tether with it - I'm bleedin' bleeding every other week with some random spotting in between. Not to mention the I get PMT every 4 weeks on top of that.
Could I have your recommendations for an alternative form of contraception please? Preferably one that gets rid of my PMT, hormonal spots, excess pounds and makes me look like a bright shiney teenager again. (But seriously, will settle for no periods!)
