How to avoid DD and Dh getting my flu like bug?

Am currently ill and feeling dreadful. Haven't mved from bed much today and have not managed to eat, although drinking lots. Think I haeve a flu type bug; not felt so horrid for a long time. Started feeling rough yesterday, but got wore during night.

Have 7y DD and a DH who I'd rather not pass it too.

DD stayed at friend's house last night and Katz has been lovely and kept her there all day today. She will come home this evening when DH collects though in ti,e for school tomorrow.

So - how to prevent? Or is it just luck?

Sorry you're feeling so ill. Hope you recover soon.
Well, some essential oils have anti bacterial qualities and make the place smell heavenly. You could try using a burner with lavender, eucalptus or tee tree. Lemon is good and bergamot is uplifting. A few drops in water in a saucer on a radiator can be effective.

So apart from washing hands all the time, I'm not sure what else to suggest.

Thanks.

Called Gp re doctors note and he asked me to go in at 7pm when DH was home to drive me and surgery was empty. Did loads of checks and he reckons flu, although the type flu is not known and pretty irrelevant anyway. Had decided against Tamiflu as he thinks it may just make me sick again anyway. Temp still high, but can now take paracetamol ok, which I need to help with the aches and headache, Heart rate really fast and all the rest of the typical symptoms. Have antibiotics for any underlying infectios too, and a sick note til Friday.
