You could try a hot bath and see if it bursts naturally.
I had one last year and it was so painful I was resigned to going to the Dr, I had a bath in preparation and it popped.

Might try that tonight, thanks xx

It's often caused by an in growing hair, they normally pop after a bath.

I had one in my outer nethers, felt a lump, squeezed it, ouch it bloody hurt ,but the relief was immense. Not what sensible folk would do though, I;m sure

Have you tried some antiseptic like tcp? i had one a few months ago. It wasnt ready (tmi) so put some tcp on it .. stung like hell but in a day or two after puting tcp on it for 2 times a day, it had disappeared.

Or if its in a very delicate place maybe some sudacrem or germolene (the one with anesthetic (sp)
