I'm going to have to take my arse back to the GP, aren't I? [glum]

Thought about name-changing but ho hum, why bother .

I have a massive bleeding haemorrhoid. Courtesy of DS's crap delivery. On another thread, someone's not-so-DH called her haemorrhoids "arse grapes"... well, that's what I had. They've gotten better over time, but occasionally act up... to add insult to injury, usually around my period.

So right now one is bleeding like a mad bastard every time I have a poo. To the point where I'm scared of going poo.

Here's what I've been using: prescription haemorrhoid suppositories and cream, and Vitamin E oil straight from the capsule, which has worked like a charm before. But it's not working now.

Any suggestions? I'm going to have to bare my arse for the GP again, aren't I? Possibly to arrange to have haemorrhoid surgery... fantastic...

So who's got an app't with the GP this week? Wednesday for me. Come on, brave ladies!!

Do the over the counter creams get rid of small ones or do they just stop the bleeding?
Have just discovered it after post birth constipation - which was helpfully cured by eating lots of kiwis (the constipation that is). Am really quite horrified by reading the other thread on this subject

The OTC cream just (eventually) heals the bleeding. Actually, I've found Vitamin E oil straight from the capsule helps more for bleeding.

If I have to go to the GP, you all have to, too!!! App't was rescheduled to next week though, she had to go to a birth...

I've had ds with me today so have not been able to go, I've no idea what's happening re:school/uni, his school isn't open until 11 , I'm supposto be in Uni from 9. I will though, it does seem to have stopped bleeding now though.

Mine too... but I know it will bleed again so, although I'd like to put it off... I won't.

I will go. It's not a bad one so I should try some over the counter stuff first I think.
