My health has been poor for around 5 months. My diet has been terrible, mostly bread, and absolutely no fruit or veg until the last 2 weeks or so. ALso, my calorie intake has been very poor too. (Please don't judge my diet, my mental health has been and continues to be very bad too, I have been hanging around the Mental Health boards). I don't drink enough either.

The last two weeks have been much better and I have eaten more quantity, but still focussing on bread.

So, my circulation is bad, I feel cold all of the time, and my fingers and toes go numb really quickly, Raynaud's I think.

I get tired really quickly. My skin is dry.

I would like to kick start my diet, to get some nutrients in, seeing as my body must be rather depleted by now. But which foods are best? I am vegetarian btw.

It's NOT a diet, despite what the title says- though if you do want to lose weight, it will help.

It's more about healthy eating.

Just adding a quick recipe you might like, its one of my stand by meals and v.easy.

Boil up and drain red lentils (approx half a pack) drain, add seasoning + squirt of tomato puree. place in the bottom of an oven proof dish.

Cover the lentils with a good layer of cooked mushroom.

Top with a layer of breadcrumbs and cheese mixed together , cook in the oven until top is browned.

you can obv. add onions or other veg to the lentil layer if you wanted.

Well I finally got to the supermarket today, and bought fruit and veg, so there's no excuse. Unfortunately there is still brioche in the house from last week, and I keep eating it instead of something good. Once they are gone, I won't buy any more. I also bought hoummus.

I am going to try the veg lasagne from Meglet recipe tomorrow. I have bought some lasagne sheets.

I do actually feel a bit better, now I'm eating better (porridge for breakfast for example).

I can't get motivated for exercise yet...one thing at a time! I'm really not sure about running, I've only got little legs!! I must think about exercise...
