Lips keep going blue/purple

I am 8 weeks pg and have noticed my lips seem to be purple and turning blue quite a bit.

At first i thought it was because of the cold weather but it is still happening. Is it worth mentioning to the Dr next week?

Thanks

Yes, definitely mention it. Do you feel breathless, or faint? Do you have any pain in your chest or throat/neck/jaw?

I would make an appointment asap.

I am fine, just tired. Dh mentioned it a couple of weeks ago (when we had the snow) but since i have noticed it. I have a Dr's app next monday (was the first i could get after the new year to confirm pg)

Happened to me later in pregnancy - several times at 30-something weeks. Also mky fingernails went white/purple. I told the dr at an appointment and as my blood results had previously been fine he basically ignored it.

I felt fairly indignant, his medical degree must have come out of a cracker if he didn't realise the potential seriousness of this. OTOH, I've been ok ever since, not dead yet. This was 6 years ago.

I thought it may be anemia, as have constantly struggled with it, but i am taking spatone (most days) and thought i would wait for blood tests showing that i was low before taking a double dose iyswim?
