Even dp has commented. I had a long bath today to shift it and it has come back.

There is no discharge just an onion smell.

kneedeepinthedirtylaundry · 28/12/2009 23:22

PoppyIsApain · 28/12/2009 23:23

PMSL at your name choice

Onionringsdownbelow · 28/12/2009 23:23

No I may have given birth but I did not mistake my fanjo for a turkey and proceed to stuff it with veg.

Thanks for saying shallot rather than onion.

You know when you have been cutting onions and you get that smell on your fingers, I have that but up my fanny.

No more onions than usual.

There is no pain, burning, itch just a smell.

Have you (do you dare?) googled?

brimfull · 28/12/2009 23:27

Onionringsdownbelow · 28/12/2009 23:28

I can't google as my laptop is broke and only have my work laptop. I teach so I can't risk having "Why does my fanny smell of onions?" or any genitalia pictures in my history,

OP posts:
Onionringsdownbelow · 28/12/2009 23:29

I have just googled and didnt get much helpful info apart from other woman asking the same question in different forums who said it was mainly when they were having sex, the answers were suggesting that maybe its diet but one woman was suffering 3 years on and still hadn't gone to the doc's, i recommend you go to the gp, the sooner the better for your piece of mind.

Pantofino · 28/12/2009 23:29

Have you eaten a lot of onions recently? I should probably name change to save my TMI blushes, but dh often complains that the taste changes if I have been eating garlic.....

Onionringsdownbelow · 28/12/2009 23:32

We are having a lot of sex [boast emoticon]

I have to go to the doctor next week, if the smell does not subside he will notice so I will have to say something. How mortifying.

Pantofino · 28/12/2009 23:33

Shiney has some good medical advice! In the meantime, at least you shouldn't be troubled by vampires!

tackyChristmastreedelivery · 28/12/2009 23:34

Are you pregnant? I see you are ttc, sure you haven't managed it? That can create changes in taste and smell don'tchaknow. Mainly a metallic type thing, but that could be onion too - just strong I guess.

P.S I know this because of my job, it is not a hobby.

brimfull · 28/12/2009 23:35

yes but her dh smells it too

Onionringsdownbelow · 28/12/2009 23:35

I can't remember smelling of onions last time I got pregnant, but different man, different sperm.

Can I not get anything over the counter for BV?
